We do free timing adjustments for life as well. You can send it in every year if you want and we pressure test, clean/lube seals and tune them. We have used ...
COSC includes temperature change and the test seems to be longer, but i think you are right for the rest part.
But i do think similar watch without being limited and tuning is largely available at this price range and lower.
It comes down to if you like the design or not,for me it is just looks too much like a Panerai, aka itself don't have any character.
And it is easy to tune a watch movement to be accurate but how long the accuracy lasts is the question, open your watch every year or two won't do it any good.I know many random ETA keeps excellent time when many people just got them but them seems to deteriorate after a few months.
EDIT: i forgot to mention the fact that limited edition is a common hype. Many brands makes LE watches but most of them don't have much more value over the normal product line.Especially for some brands that spits out LE every year(Panerai). This true for small brands but big brands does this as well.
But LE isn't worthless,if a LE watch has good difference from the normal one it based on that people love the price will sky rocket. It depends mainly on the difference of the design, craftsmanship and people's desire for it(in contrast of the number of the watches of the model available),not just the phrase "Limited Edition" and the number.
aka Many people want it+small number produced=high value
Many people want it+big number produced =higher than normal value
Not a lot of people want it +any number produced =not much higher than normal value if you resell it
(normal value refers to the value of the watch the LE watch based on)
