Now were talkin very cool but I'm not really liking any of the markers or hands.

Interesting - love my two Poseidons (blue/white and gray/black/orange), but not sure I'll be in the market for this one. The way that the thick sapphire crystal reflects light and distorts the dial at angles, it will be interesting to see if the dial striations will "pop" or if the meteorite kind of gets lost and looks like a gray dial. Will keep it on the radar.

Now that is very impressive indeed! Thanks Mike.:good::cool2::applaud:

The hands on the pics to the right just don't do it for me. This is the same meteorite Elshan from Zelos used & it's different than the Gibeon in a good way.

Is this dial natural (silvery), or Black?
If it is black or dark, I'am out, as I think the striations will be too dull, and unnoticeable.

Hell Mark I would say it's a dark grey which imo is a nice option to the silver Gibeon. Even though it's a dark grey you can still see the striations very easily.

Hard to tell what the meteorite dial will look like from CAD images. I recall Elshan saying how some of the dials are darker than others, but the same thing can be said about Gibeon. I have seen some drab looking dials in that material as well. I'm not a fan of the hands or dial markers on the Black Star so far.

The SAN image above is mine, none of these Hammerhead images are mine just using for examples.

AARGH!!!

I just trimmed my collection. Can these companies stop making watches that I want.......

:dizzy:

I would explain it this way the Gibeon striations are darker or sometimes silvery to the rest of the meteorite & the Swedish one the striations are lighter to the rest of the meteorite if that made any sense. So you get that contrast between the striations from the rest of the meteorite dial.

I have one meteorite dial and that is enough for me unless it has other features on the watch I like, can't see myself adding another. I could be lured by maybe space rock high beat automatic with Tritium tubes, ceramic or sapphire bezel lumed up like a Supernova. Add meteorite or carbon fiber inlay the complete length of bracelet with maybe a few tritium tubes in the first few links or even the entire length. Bracelet would be sort of a hybrid of these two, but infused with meteorite or carbon fiber + tubes.

Nice watch. Like the hands and markers of the watches on the left side. Wish it was at least 45mm and up.
