I'm Back.....................

Yep I found that out too when I tried a Barton Elite. Uncle Seiko sent a set of fat bars with his strap so I have two sets now plus another on the incoming Safarnie.
Didn't even pay attention when I got the new strap for mine. It came with springbars so I just popped the Seiko strap off and installed the new strap with the springbars the new strap came with. Wore the Safarnie all day and the next day I went to pick it off the dresser and one side of the strap came off. That's when I realized that not only were the springbars not the same but I was lucky to still have the timepiece because it could of fell off while I was wearing it.

Amazing that you got it to stay on at all. So I just so won a snj029 off eBay. Why? Who knows but I like them all.
