I am a Sinn'er

I think you're right Scotty...but I have two more that I have yet to post...an out of production Invicta and a NOS Croton dresser...stay tuned...

That "blasted" look is the "tegiment" process which I'm sure you are aware of...it has a titanium grey color under indoor light but outside in the sun it has a interesting hard to describe lite brownish, copperish hue to it...
i forgot just how " tempered " the tegiment-ta-tion process is... ( 5 tymes hardness SS 1,200 VICKERS ) i love the rabbit holes of metallurgy on the forum... hope the ultimate grail score feeling " lasts "

1000 mtr WR bragging rights...deeper than 1 mile straight down in the ocean...cheers

-interesting brownish-copper hue in sun... no nickel in the alloy

Holy GRAILS!!!! You done gone and went full Teg on us!!! WELL DONE!!! Your Zinn is more than forgiven! Wouldn't be surprised if that can turn a lake into holy water.

That is a top of the list one-day-hope-to-buy, for me, so that's just more inspiration to see such a WUNDER!!! Thanks for sharing such a treasure. Outstanding pics of a beautiful tool watch that can outlast the end of the ages.

Massive congrats to you!!!!!

Wanted to add this info...

In doing reasearch before buying this piece I saw that folks were talking about bezel "play" on this watch...further digging said that Sinn purposefully engineered the bezel to not be stiff...the point being that you would be able to manipulate the bezel with gloves or one handed and clear any grit that got in while diving...

It is not sloppy by any means and stays where you set it...and if you push down on the bezel at any given point it does move up and down just a bit...interesting info about this watch which some my not like but I appreciate the reasoning behind it...

Just an FYI for those who might be thinking about one...it IS a sweet watch...
