Welcome to the Hamilton Atelier!

Discover our guide on how to change or replace a NATO strap on your Hamilton watch.

Characterized by its durability and comfortable fit, the military inspired NATO strap adds edge to your timepiece. It sits well on the wrist and features a unique configuration that provides an added layer of protection against losing your watch. Easy to swap in and out, the NATO strap can be replaced with a click of a spring bar.

This video equips you with the simple step-by-step instructions on how to easily switch your current NATO strap for a new one.

Get your tools ready and let’s get started!

:hmm: I never take the spring bars out for my NATO/ZULU if they have plenty of clearance. I've had the rare occasions where the strap is too thick or the lug pins/bars are so close to the case it causes friction against the strap. In those instances I'll take them out to avoid chaffing and unnecessary wear and tear on the straps or case.
