Lady fortune is a wheel

Your watches are micro nice all swiss grails

Though are members are mostly honest work men because watches are an addiction sometimes the acquisitive urge resonates deep in a member's DNA voices louden " must have it "

:hmm: I'm not sure what is considered an honest working man to you .. I've earned every dollar that's passed through my hands driving a truck and fingerprinting every item or box I've ever delivered. I have skin like leather and calluses on hands to prove it and it's not from beating my meat man.

" A WORKING CLASS HERO IS SOMETHING TO BE " penned & crooned by LENNON after br8kup from GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH...ooohhh yo ko

don't give it up to the machine

trucking asphalt ribbons , jungles, highways and byways hauling freight ; who could personify the role on MTV better than ROAD WARRIOR ?

however; on the other hand ROAD WARRIOR is a wit foremost exemplifying what I referenced as "busting a move " and the OP's all swiss in switzerland micro grail collection could be within RW'S scope should it tickle his fancy ( leave tyme for side trip to GRINDELWALD lederhosen optional )

thanks for all you threads and keep up coming

Thank you for taking a peek at our watches. Did you happen to check this article. It kind of sums up our take on watchmaking.

On to more important things, I think your strategy for "holiday" will bode well. Food is a very important element to watch development and I can recommend some additional places prior to your departure for Grindelwald.

FINAL THOUGHTS

How is this in-house Swiss tourbillon priced under CHF 10,000? There are several factors, starting with the fact that Horage is a small, independent brand without the influence of parent companies. The team is comprised of expert Swiss watchmakers with former leading roles at ETA, Vaucher and Eterna, and the K1-series helped perfect design and production methods. Perhaps most important, Horage has mastered in-house design and production of escapements, which is rare in the industry and vital to tourbillon development. This doesn’t answer everything, and I honestly can’t fill in all of the blanks. In my years as a watch enthusiast and professionally covering the industry, I’ve never seen such a story.

Here is a pdf that can help shed a little more light on the break down.

https://www.fhs.swiss/file/8/Guide_FH_v.5_en.pdf

Page 22 of that document touches on movement criteria. It's important to take note of the constituent parts value as things like gear trains are excluded from the calculation this is because some produce those outside Switzerland. From a brands perspective like ours it's frustrating and I think it's equally so for enthusiasts. My hope is the standards will be raised or a new standard created for those engineering, producing, sourcing and manufacturing locally. Adding in an extra layer of accuracy to that one standard would be ideal. Other countries should do the same and provide a fair level of transparency to their supporters. Brands are creating their own standards now which is nice to see, but how that is vetted is anyones guess. I think it's important to have a non-biased 3rd party involved such is the case with COSC.

Ever thought to yourself, “If I were to start a watch brand, I’d make the best watch for a really good price and it would have tourbillons and everything.” Yeah, me too. How’s yours coming along? I gave up on my idea after a quarter-minute and played Dark Souls instead. Not Horage, though. They were just about crazy enough to go through with it.

My Stuhrling Original tourbillon has been going strong and accurate for many years now, and it still looks amazingly beautiful. All for around 1000 bucks, just saying.

So are my two Android models, but apples and oranges, especially as far as the movements go. Those brands invest little R&D in the CHINESE movements and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Folks should buy and enjoy what they like and their budget allows.
