I miss my old "Postal" Brother... I was there when it was this...CURIOUS GEORGE would repeat THE PREACHINGS OF SCOTTY B when I fell off the wagon...he was USPS in the land OF SHOP HQ
CG was a good poster... a wicked addict hundreds if boxes ...then one day he asked " why ? " ...I enjoyed his posts when I preached in the breach...like CASSANOVA advocating celibacy... ScottyB too hears the voices...obey...now...mustI miss my old "Postal" Brother... I was there when it was this...
well said PF " out, out brief candle ..."Thank you guys. Happy with what I have at the moment, keeping the voices and white rabbit at bay. It's still fun to look at some of these new watches but not scratching the itch feels weird. Things to ponder as I enjoy a large cup of black coffee and celebrate another year above ground.
Your not the only one. I like them tooThank you everyone for the warm bday wishes. This is my 49th year since my hatching. I served 8 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout, fought in Iraq in 2003, and have served the City of Chicago as a P.O. for the last 16 years. I recognize the sacrifices of all those who came before me and can honestly say I don't know how I am still here after facing death so many times. Maybe the Gods want to keep me around until I buy that Ulysse Nardin. I'm a very simple fellow who loves vodka, black coffee, history, watches and books (not necessarily in that order). I'm also a boob man hahaha. My point is you just have to keep moving forward. Enjoy every day above ground. Have a nice drink, a nice meal, coffee, game of catch with your kid, a nice walk with your loved one, buy a new watch. It's the small things that matter. Live life to the max every day because tomorrow will be here before you know it, and then you are out of time. Thank you my fellow WIT's and drive on.
