H2O INSIGHT 24.10.21
My wife and daughter were always pushing me to extend the HELBERG product range since a long time. I'm sure you have an idea what they were requesting? Of course bags, what else!
😂
I had to reject as I believe this is too different manufacturing method and material style.

But rings, ear rings or belts were requested too.
👍
I personally would like to add folder (knives) made from exotic materials, kitchen knives, sharp pizza roller cutter, mail opener, beads for led flash lamps or maybe the flash lamps itself. All made from exotic materials like Timascus, Damascus steel, Mokume Gane, black titanium or carbon or whatever material I find interesting and exotic.

- All MADE IN GERMANY by H2O!
- Very limited production numbers!
- Highest quality level for each single product
- No compromise in materials used

For rapid prototyping (my female family members could become very inpatient
😎
) I have bought yesterday a Swiss made 5-axis ultra-high precision cnc machine, which will be located in a room directly next to my office desk. Just a 5 Meter walk and the show could start.
😀
The machine has a weight of just 2000kg compared to nearly 8000kg of the OPS Speed Hawk 550. I bought the machine used and its original price was 300.000 Euro/USD350.000.
I'm sure you have also some product ideas in mind. What could it be for you?

H2O INSIDE / 25.10.21

After several hours of preparation, production, surface treatment and polishing the result doesn't look spectacular right now.
BUT: It could look so much different tomorrow when it's finished! It will be worlds first and to my knowledge has never been produced by any watch company before.

Of course it need to be finished successfully first!
👍
😎
😁

Getting closer! This dial material reacts like crazy on the lightning. Same dial photographed from different angles.

Next try of heat coloring. First dial broke into parts, but second try was a little better.
🙂
Fortunately, because these dials are costing a fortune in production.

New for 2021: 1800 S GG DAMASZENER - the watch made of Damascus steel, limited to 100 pieces.

Where functionality determines the design and every detail testifies to innovative technology, Sinn Spezialuhren is at work. Since the company was founded in 1961, everything has revolved around high-quality mechanical watches that combine traditional quality awareness with future-oriented solutions. We have repeatedly used materials that were completely new to watchmaking. In 1995, for example, we presented the first 22-carat yellow gold watch with a material hardness that corresponds to that of stainless steel (220 HV). In 2005, German submarine steel was used for diving watches for the first time. With the 1800 S DAMASZENER, limited to 100 pieces, we also transferred the traditional material of Damascus steel into a form suitable for watch cases for the first time. Our 1800 DAMASZENER, limited to 100 pieces, continued this demanding concept to perfection.

As the third member of this watch family, we present the individually numbered 1800 S GG DAMASZENER, limited to 100 pieces - a watch made of real fire-welded Damascus steel, which seamlessly builds on the high quality of the previous models and at the same time sets its own highlights without giving up the charm of the special material . Rather, she skilfully stages it.
