Today we are working on a $10 eBay watch. Can we make it look attractive again? Join Stian for a full restoration of this old watch, with quite a few issues as we go along.

CHRONO 24 cool inventory of vintage

problem with these vintage is they are just too small 34mm TWSS

by the time you pay a grand or 2 for vintage.... you have to weigh that stack of cake against NEW WITH WARRANTY @ AD JMHO

what a beautiful restoration @caesarg @sota0003 @bignoize

the land fill thanks them
I'm also looking at picking this up from the bay and seeing if I can get it running again. I really like the dial and the look of the movement. Would j7st need to get a nice case for it. For $40, it may be worth it.

The negative with these is depending on what is wrong with them, the parts may either be unavailable or very costly.

will work for dead watch movements
Hahaha. Yeah except my wife says - all this money you've spent (not just a little BTW) on tools/oils/etc, you ever going to make any money? As she's saying this I have another $100 or so coming in with new stuff.

Have to ensure I take delivery. What she doesn't know won't hurt me, I hope.

;) Some nice work indeed.(y)Thanks Mike.:hat:

Well had to do it. Movement is incoming. Now can I get it running? And, if yes, I'll then have to find a nice case to display it. We shall see.

Got it for $30 so, not a major loss if it's non repairable.

Stian is back with commentary for the video published last week! We'll talk a bit about the process we're going through, about the brand and the movement, and we'll also dive into the question of how timing was done before timegraphers became commonplace.
Oh, and we'll also discuss the potential perils co-habitation of polar bears and penguins could bring!
