First look at the new Hammerhead 300m prototype. Release date should be around March with launch pricing at roughly 350USD

Just my 2 cents but I'm not buying this. I've owned a Hammerhead and I sold it the same week. Fit and finish were good but the dial seemed very small in comparison to the case dimensions (big case little dial). I have a 8.5' wrist and I usually go with 44-46mm case diameter (Hammerhead case 44mm). The dial looked very small for me. To the Hammerhead owners out there what are the dimensions of the dial/face? thanks

Why not give STP or Soprod movements a try?

Didn't Soprod come out with a new entry level Swiss movement last year called the Newton?
I agree. Anything but NH35's at this point! Haha.
Zelos isn't afraid to use a variety of movements. They already have used and worked with a wider variety of movements than some seasoned, established brands. The first Halo used a *La Joux Perret movement on the project. The Mirage used a Swiss made tourbillon movement. They are working on other projects and movements in 2021 with LJP.

I know Elshan won't hesitate using Miyota 9000 series whenever the Swiss movement prices spike. I actually prefer the Miyota over Swiss myself. It helps keep the prices down and they have proven to be reliable, rock solid options.

*LJP is owned by Citizen of Japan

The dial opening is smaller than other models. I've read a few others who said they felt it wore or appeared smaller because of it. I'm fine with it, but maybe because I like wearing 38-40mm sizes, so it doesn't bother me.

I think the price point difference between the NH35/38 and Miyota 9000 series is rather inconsequential, and I for one would rather Elshan look toward purchasing more of the latter for his new watches. I will say that I am looking forward to the SF40 bronze, but would be prepared to spend at least another $100 for the movement upgrade.
