We baked a dial! This is a new series of guides on making an aged watch mod. We'll start the series by applying a faux patina to the lume indices on a watch dial, thus creating an aged look. We outline two methods to achieve this aging effect, one using dry used coffee ground, and one without. For both methods, we’ll use an oven.

The aging mod series will proceed with one video detailing the process of one particular watch component. This video deals with watch dials, and in the next video we’ll age the hands. Stay tuned!
