ust Launched, not sure what’s so different, unique, or great about it ???
Not sure there's anything unique, but I'd take this one all day, every day over every OC to date for my money.
The SEB price of $559.00 blows away the $699.00 Ocean Crawler pre-sale prices. Probably why there is only 19 left out of 150.

The model ENGELSFISCH is made of titanium grade 2. Why grade 2 and not grade 5?
Is better grade 5 than grade 2 in a diver watch?
Difference between titanium grade 5 and grade 2 watch cases.
What exactly is the difference between Titanium grade 2 and 5 watch cases?
The primary difference is strength. A titanium grade 2 watch case is made of commercially pure titanium where as a grade 5 watch titanium is a titanium alloy with 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. This helps to provide Grade 5 added strength as its 2x stronger than grade 2. Grade 5 offers a yield strength of 138ksi versus 50ksi of grade 2.
The additional elements that make up this alloy also give it 60% lower thermal conductivity.
But for a watch case is does not important the strength and the thermal conductivity. The more important elements for a titanium watch case is the hardness and the corrosion resistance.
In terms of hardness grade 5 has 349HV and grade 2 has 145HV, but after our hard coating treatment the titanium increases up to 900HV.
In terms of corrosion resistance that both offer exceptional resistance to salt water and all chlorides, though grade 5 is minutely less resistant than grade 2.
In general, grade 2 is the utilized for corrosion related applications, whereas for application requiring high strength, the recommend is grade 5.
The ENGELSFISCH has inclined bezel made of sapphire. This inlay shows a 60 minutes scale and a no-decompression limit scale.
The no-decompression scale shows you the maximun time you can dive at a maximun depth.
That means the maximun diving time at 45 meters is only 5 minutes, 40 meters for no more than 10 minutes, 35 meters 15 minutes, 30 meters 20 minutes...18 meters 50 minutes. 50 means the limits to do decompression.
The time scale is 5 minutes graded. Pointed the triangule to the minute hands a 60 minutes lapse can be recorded.
All watches will be assembled and tested in Switzerland. The assembly in Switzerland consists of preinspection of each component of the watch, assembly, runing test and control of watertightness.
Here is some pictures of the previous Plongeur assembly at Switzerland.
The ETA caliber 2824-2 is perhaps one of the most well-known and most recognized movements in the watch industry. It has been in production since 1982 and was based off the original Eterna caliber 1427. The “-2” designation indicates the generation. The 2824 is considered to be a “workhorse” movement by many watch enthusiasts. Most of the notorious Swiss watch companies use it or have used it. Among the advantages of this caliber is that the 2824-2 is a movement that any watchmaker could repair, its proven quality and durability and the accessibility to spare parts. We will use the standard grade.
