Well, they did. Lots of different designs of transistor radios and table radios and clock radios too. In the late 1950's to the 1960's. Their transistor radios were considered "premium" and Bulova sold them only at jeweler's stores.

I have been keeping my eye on them and got myself a nice one. As it turns out, it is mint! And works perfectly!

How cool is this ! I had a small crystal radio when growing-up that had an alligator clip
attachment. Thanks for sharing this Tom.

This I didn't know. Thanks Tom.:hand:

We've had a couple come through the antique mall. You found a good one!

Sent from The White House on taxpayers dimes.

The Bulova HQ building in Long Island City NY used to be a client of mines back in the day. I remember seeing those radios in display cases in their lobby. It's super cool that you were able to grab one, thanks for sharing.

Pretty cool Tom & it brings back memory's of the old AM hand held radio as a kid, it was a big thing for me back then.

Me too Ron. I remember being taken to the beach as a kid, and almost everyone had a little transistor radio on their towel, listening to rock and roll.
