Everybody getting in on their version of the "robin's egg" blue. Nice price but a ghost date watch offered with 2 different engines is strange.

Actually one movements cost almost twice as the other with a longer power reserve. IMO when you get close to a hundred for the movement cost I would rather have a higher beat Miyota 9039 with no date.

I agree. The 8315 has only roughly 20 more hours of reserve than the 8215 and the price point is entering the 9039 range. It would be a great watch at that point.

It's been some time since I last looked at anything from Cronos, but a friend of mine recently got an Explorer. He's raved about it ever since, so I decided to check one out. Expect I opted for the smaller and possibly more relevant 36mm version.
