LEGACY

2401326337.jpg

A timepiece for those special occasions. The birth of your son, celebrating achievement on graduation day, walking your daughter down the aisle and watching your grandchild take his or her first steps. Remember all those memories that you cherish throughout your lifetime with a watch that is built to last. When the time comes, it's a Legacy you'll be proud to pass along to your loved ones. A watch they would be honored to wear because it's “Dad's watch”. The fact that it's a Boschett only enhances the prestige. The Legacy is powered by a new, state-of-the-art, 21st century movement, the Miyota 9015. With dual sapphire crystals you can see the beauty of the precision movement at work. Gaze upon the smooth sweeping second hand on the front, or be mesmerized by the oscillation of the balance wheel on the back.

I was thinking the same thing. I always pick the Miyota 9000 when it's offered with brands like Benarus, Helson and other Indie brands. Usually the other option is the ETA 2824-2. As long as SELLITA is not in the mix I'm content. I have one of the oldest Cave Dwellers with the Miyota 8215.

Tutorial for installing the included rubber strap on the Cave Dweller Items needed: Spring-bar tool Masking tape (optional) Patience After removing the bracelet I recommend using tape to mask off the lugs to protect them from accidental scratches. (picture 1)

There are two holes drilled into the lugs. (picture 2)

The outer holes are for the bracelet the inner holes are for the rubber strap. Note the rubber strap will fit into the holes meant for the bracelet but the strap will be a little loose against the case and you will be able to swivel the strap away from the case. (picture 3)

Note the ridge in the end of the strap. (picture 4)

This must rest on top of the ridge on the case. (picture 5)

Now here’s a handy tip. Make a mark on the tape indicating where the proper holes are. (picture 6)

Holding the strap up at an angle (picture 7) line up one side and slide the strap in so the spring bar goes into the proper hole. This one side should pop in. (picture 8) Using the spring-bar tool again gently put the other side inside the lug. You will see that this other side is not yet in. (picture 9)

Turn the watch around and place the strap on the surface. Now here it helps to apply a little pressure down and to the left (refer to the orientation in the picture) so that the strap is being pushed against the case. (picture 10)

While applying pressure use the spring-bar tool to maneuver the spring-bar into the second hole. (picture 11)

Repeat for the other side. Viola! (picture 12)
