THE STORY​

Paying homage to a long lasting partnership, the Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley comes in a limited run of 25 pieces. The heritage-inspired Premier embodies some of Breitling’s most famous innovations, and revives its legacy of inventing the modern Chronograph. As Willy Breitling saw it the Premier is Breitling’s “unmistakable stamp of impeccable taste”. In addition to the Chronograph, Duograph and Datora, Breitling & Bentley decided to celebrate their partnership by launching a very limited run chronograph with a tourbillon complication. Featuring rectangular chronograph pushers and Arabic numerals, the heritage-revived Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley displays a variety of elegant design details such as grooves on the case-sides, an open tourbillon cage, an open sapphire caseback and vintage-inspired hands. The Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley comes in 18k red gold with a distinctive green dial and a gold brown alligator strap. Limited to 25 pieces only, the Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley is powered by the cosc-certified Manufacture Caliber B21.

The Zelos Mirage​

Zelos has been a mainstay in the microbrand industry since 2014, when the first Zelos watch was produced.​

Six years later, Zelos has produced more than twenty different models of watches, with over a hundred different colourways.​

In 2020, we present the pinnacle of Zelos watch crafting, our halo model, The Mirage.​

The Mirage at a Glance​

The Mirage represents the highest quality standards that Zelos has always strived to achieve, combined with rare materials that Zelos has come to be associated with.​

As a halo model, The Mirage is designed from the ground up to be a showcase of the talents and resources of Zelos.​

The Mirage, at a glance, is a fully skeletonised tourbillon watch, with the tourbillon movement made by La Joux-Perret, a notable Swiss movement manufacturer based in La Chaux-de-Fonds.​

It exudes rarity and class, yet still paying respect to the origins of Zelos, incorporating the spirit of engineering with exotic materials in the three case materials available.​

The Mirage is produced is an extremely limited run of ten pieces, with three case material options: Titanium (2 pieces), Timascus (5 pieces) and Mokume-gane (3 pieces).​

Additionally, Zelos is the first watch company known to have used the Timascus material for its watch cases, which is a visually stunning material that is almost ridiculously light and strong.​

How much was the Zelos? I don't recall. Its a different movement and a chronometer grade tourby is a different level of beast. But I'm curious is it 10x the price of the Zelos?

I like the Premier line but they have on a few occasions crossed over into an area where they are mimicking Patek designs. The Daytora over all and on these tourby's too. Esp the hand design.

I see these the same way I see it when Omega makes a $50k+ watch. They are out there to show the world what the company can do as a statement and the few they sell to the really dedicated brand collectors will make up for the cost put into the watch.
