Arrived today....

I absolutely love the phrase @Panzerfaust used to describe this watch: "The Apex CASIO!" It's like a well-picked-out CALLSIGN, one that the whole community will use, making it a de riguer name to be kept and used forever...(or at least as long as your five-year tour of duty in the carrie - AKA "the Big, Gray Winnebago - lasts!!)

It is the best G-shock really. Have the black one with gold trim and the combat version. Can't speak highly enough of it. I have some expensive watches but my Mudmaster gets the most wrist time out of all my watches. Enjoy it!

Sweet! I do love mine, as I've said. I also picked up a cool little solar "charging" light, from Amazon. Has a rubber cradle on it for the watch face, or actually a smaller cradle and a larger one, to suit watches of all sizes. Very handy for the solar collection, although they all live by the window now.

There is also a cool phone app for syncing to atomic time, for anyone living where the signal doesn't reach. It makes little pops and clicks which the watch "hears" and interprets correctly as the accurate Atomic Clock signal.

Thought I would mention the JDM packaging is not the tin can with foam but rather a nice padded watchbox.

I should also mention my watch has a defective module in that the BARO units are not displayed when attempting to adjust between the two units of measure. I found I was still able to select the USA standard but had to do it blind. I can live with it since I don't plan on changing it.

Still I reached out to Casio support as well as seiajapan to see the responses.
