:hmm: I'm tempted to buy one of the R150 trinkets and wind it normally like I do all of my others and see if the movement explodes.

Sapphire Buzz.

:lol:I laugh every time I hear Wing say in the video .. If you do it too fast, too long the heat that it produces between the teeth .. it's called erection. It will wear the teeth down and out and strip the teeth. Don't do it!

I could visualize this as a sketch for FMB about building up heat .. "Let me show you something"

I wish he could make hands other than copying SKX, or the simple long sideways triangle hands. They are boring!

Is there a real difference between this Rhonda movement and the PT5000?
Wing states the regular price on these is $1,100. Who’s going to pay that much?

RW, that’s the one I’m getting also AND I’m also getting the white luminous dial version…I figure for $220 for a Swiss movement watch with dual sapphire crystals, ceramic luminous bezel, in an easy to wear 43 MM size brushed SS case and bracelet with push button clasp, you can’t go wrong.

Just got the same shipping info you did from Aragon:

This Swiss Divemaster 42 watch is right up there in value with the Divemaster 4 Meteorite watch that Aragon quickly sold out of last year when they were introduced for $200 .

FWIW, I have about 6 or so watches with this newer Swiss Ronda R-150 automatic movement and I’ve found it to be a fairly robust and accurate movement with no winding issues so far, thus I do trust it (unlike a couple of Sellita SW-200 movement watches, as you point out, that I have with some very “sketchy” tight crowns that I carefully wind or just let the automatic movement wind itself).:time:

Both the R150 and PT5000 are based on the ET A 2824 like the SW200 and others.

I hope they do not have the haze issues like many have had. Since these have Sapphire I'm hopeful all will stay well. Keep us posted:)
