People hated the one above in the photo because of the watch group name on the dial.

I wish the AWOC was not advertised on the dial. It wasn’t a nice group to belong to. I left.

It's hard to believe that this brand hasn't learned anything over the years with certain spec selling points. IMHO that tells me brand integrity takes a backseat. I would think they wouldn't want cloudy crap out there connected to their brand name relating to build quality, but obviously that takes a backseat over other priorities.

Putting size aside, they know the difference in quality between crystal material. Wing has pointed it out countless times in his videos. Still they continue to make customers have to sift through what has mineral or sapphire. I guess they sell enough mineral stuff to folks that couldn't care less or they are just too blind to see the haze. Sacrificing a bigger profit margin supersedes minimizing after sales issues.

I wonder how many complaints Wing gets about the haze in the crystal? Obviously not enough because he still sells K1.

Steve you don't count in the complaint department. Just by going by how you double and triple up on post here. I'll wager you every trinket I own that I can find a bunch of hazed crystals in your collection. Bottom line .. A hundred or thousands shouldn't make any difference. The problem is real. Seems to be on far too many trinkets of the usual suspect hazy brands = They don't give a damn!

Do a lot of the recent models still experience the haze with K1 crystal ? :dunno:

Spotlight Watch Review
Sep 29, 2024

Aragon has the right idea, take popular models and make them in a regular and a large size so that nobody feels left out when they see a design that they like. The Divetank is a square diver offered in both 40mm and in 48mm. For the little guys and the monsters out there. Powered by the popular SII NH35 movement and exhibiting a blast of vibrant color with its teal sunray finished dial, it’s an eye catching and unique take on a diver.

The four faux screws on the face of the case and the protruding screw heads on the lugs are decorative non-functional as well. Watching the review the NFW Autopilot designs popped into my head.
