hard to compete with the down ward price pressure of the chinese watch making industry-

in 1917 the BOLSHEVIKS took over the watch factories in MOTHER RUSSIA lock,stock, and barrel and just continued operations and made tools for the proletariat for generations

PRC GOT STATE MANAGED " CAPITALISM " ... watch making aint rocket science... chinese make good watches cheap... PRC coming for the car business...BYD on the upswing... chinese auto production price pressure has caused 2 JAPANESE AUTO MAKERS INTO A SHOTGUN WEDDING

Owning several Lum-Tec trinkets I prefer to support a brand like this over a brand like NODUS and it's not even close. My own thought process is that LT has always been higher compared to other micro-brands. When I look at a brand like NODUS they are consistently higher than other brands in the same circles using the same movements, but for my money there isn't any merit. We all rationalize in our own noggins trying to make sense of the cents we spend on this hobby.

Interesting on the movement one is GMT the other not. They been pushing the gmt like crazy on this movement.
High precision tuned Miyota 9075 automatic movement with independent hour setting
- Adjusted in 6 positions after full assembling for maximum accuracy.
Will have to do some research. So about 296 plus shipping and tax on with the 35% down then 549 when ready in July my guess September from past experience with lum tec if not later. They do make great watches. Thanks Mike and Scotty for the update info comparison on both.
