Heat treated meteorite dial in the Aragon Divemaster 42 Automatic. 42mm case, sapphire, wr200m.
There will be 2 versions. Ceramic bezel with SII NH35 or Meteorite bezel with Ronda R150. Intro price range will start from $230 to $500.
Coming in June 2021.

Wing getting inspiration on the success of other brands. The price, size and other specs are fine. Maybe he can see the writing on the wall for some of the 50mm sizes. The NH35 is the one, but I have three or four blue meteorite from Elshan and a Signum. It's good to see Wing exploring movement options with the Ronda R150 and the SOPROD movements in the fall of 2021.

IMO the prices possibly have always been on the lower end of the scale. I think the difference was that most companies where hesitant to use the material. To this day Ralf from Benarus is skeptical.

"I have a bad feeling with those dials. I don't trust them what that really are. They look good that is no question, but I think it is artificial, but that is just my idea. If you have and color ideas let me know." (Ralf)

That made it easy for the few to really hammer the prices hard. The one company I'm thinking of has had no choice but to lower the prices as well. Competition is a great equalizer for consumers.

It sucks for guys like Lee and BBH. I think Lee might have been waiting for blue to come along in Invicta. I hope he makes the 45&50s for the larger size fans.

The NH35 version for $230.00 would be my choice. I'd like to see a blue bezel.

There are different degrees Steve. I thought it was a little subdued myself. It's possible the supplier they use is what they call the blue meteorite they process

Elshan has been experimenting with different tone finishes on various batches. That was what led to the batch of Timascus bezel titanium being sold for less because of the duller tone.

If the natural meteorite one I have from Wing is any indication. I think they should be fine.

Totally agree with you Steve, my Signum Cuda Heat treated Meteorite has very vibrant color variations, Kyle did a great job with that offering.
They were particular colors that Kyle choose to highlight in his version. They can be tweaked to fit the brand design and what they are trying to achieve. When it comes to this stuff no two dials are going to be the same anyhow. He told me it was not an exact science.

The Signum Cuda Meteorite versions have genuine meteorite dials that come in two finishes, natural meteorite (grey) and the exclusive heat treated meteorite (blue/purple). Please note the heated meteorite the colors are always changing depending on the angle you look at the watch, sometimes blue will be more prominent and sometimes purple can come through, each dial is completely unique. You have a choice of two case sizes 38.5mm Bezel (40mm incl. crown guards) and 42.5mm Bezel (44mm incl. crown guards) and a choice of date or no date window. The Cuda is powered by the very reliable Seiko Japanese NH35 (date) and NH38 (no date) Automatic movement.

Wing is fairly new to the world of meteorite. Even some of the stuff he has used he sometimes has trouble with the terminology.

He could have meant the blue was plated meteorite. I've seen him get stuck when doing shows on EVINE and his own reviews before. The colored dials look like they are all plated to me.
