šŸ„ Going in for eye surgery today.

Went in to the surgery center this morning to have my right eye done. Unlike the first time (left eye), this one I felt everything. From the moment the scalpel went in. And it was hurting. But you are not allowed to talk, because you might make your eye move. So I was just trying to deal with it. Eventually it got so bad I could not help but cry out. Then I heard the doctor tell someone "lidocaine drops". Then he said "it's almost over". Good thing because I was on the verge of panic mode. I think they screwed up and did not put enough numbing drops in my eye. Sheesh...

Hopefully it won't change the outcome and the worst part is in the rearview. Good luck with the healing and vision upgrade.

I do several procedures every week. I don't spare the lidocaine. Might as well give it all instead of throwing out any unused/leftover. Had a patient last month send a raving thank you review to the office, because he had the same procedure at another facility, and said it was very painful, but my job was painless. Since we throw away the remainder in the bottle, just use it all!

I like your style wambo! Yeah I was like WTF because the first surgery was completely painless. In fact, this time when they put a hood over my face and installed some clamps or whatever to keep my eye peeled open, it was tugging and very uncomfortable. I was not at all aware of this the first time around. Maybe the anesthesiologist forgot to give me the "relaxant" he said he would.

And yes, Mike. As long as the outcome is good like the first, I will be happy.

yeah ...like TOM said awake the whole tyme

for me -- they was tugging and saying lookee here while tugging on MY OCCULAR MEAT...it was a LONG 15 OR 20 MINUTES

more LIDOCAINE MOTHER FOCKER

these are " MEDICALLY NECESSARY " so long as you worse than 40/20 means covered by MEDICAIRE

if a DOC performs the procedure manually IT IS PAID IN FULL...when a robot does it YOU FEEL NOTHING BUT YOU GOTTA PAY LIKE $1500

NOW -- NO BENDING AND DROPS REGIMEN FOR A MONTH

that was a short INTERVAL

as I make this foolish post you will know the RESULT JUST LIKE LAST TYME

THE PLEXI LENSE IS 20/20 ///OR MAYBE YOU LUCKY AGAIN 20/15

Man I was thinking about you the last few days. I got a minor infection in my left eye that has not got better with drops and antibiotics. Well I woke up this am and now it's in my right eye. I called the dr and hopefully he has some other options to get ahead of it. You forget how much you don't notice your eyes until you do. Hope you heal u p100%

go in now BRAD

Brad, that sounds serious. Infection in the eye is bad. (My dog got an infection in her eye and it took weeks of eye drops several times a day to clear it up.) You probably got it in your other eye, from rubbing the bad one and then spreading the cooties to the good one. Like Scotty said, don't mess around. Go see the man ASAP.

Yea just saw him an hour or so ago. He upped and changed the antibiotics and if not seeing some relief by the end of the day we will reassess. I'm much bette than this am but hoping this gets me over the hump. I was gonna do a build this weekend but nope LOLOLOL
