Henry Archer review

 Thanks for posting this up, BBH.:hat:

He's the reason I pulled the trigger on the Polar White. I have to admit all I did was size mine snap some pics and went on about my business. Finally really checked it out today and it's not a bad watch at all. Friction pins and basic clasp, buy decent watch nonetheless.
The main thing is you are happy with it. I like the watch head, but I'm not too crazy about that style bracelet on any brand of trinkets. I'll use them, but I would rather have all brushed myself. That was one of the attractions to my RAILMASTER. Every spot on it is brushed.

This one has the brushed and it seems to match the case quite well.

The bracelet without fitted end links is a deal killer for me.

The case of the Northport is a very wearable 40.5mm in diameter and the thickness of the watch is a mere 12.5mm. The lug tip to lug tip is kept at 47mm, and you will not find any overhang thanks to the use of negative endlinks. Integrating smoothly into the case is a fully brushed bracelet. You will find that not only is the bracelet brushed on the top, but also on the sides. This matches the brushing on the top and sides of the case, including the logo screw down crown.

I get that. That is something I consider myself when there is a bracelet option. Always prefer the fitted look myself but I think they do it for cost effectiveness.
