I decided to let this beauty see the light of day. It was picked up in Switzerland on a vacation trip in 1970 (you have to bring home a Swiss watch, don't you?). Back in the day I wore it frequently, but as watch sizes grew larger, it more or less disappeared. I wound it occasionally to assure it was running OK, which it was and still is, but aside from that it pretty much remained in a watch case. The model number is, I believe 7743, and the movement is the Valjoux 7733, mechanical, hand wound, chronograph. Case size is 37mm with a 19mm lug size.
It has never been serviced and it runs beautifully. Here are some pics.

Wow...1970.....that's a real collectors item for you. Nice to have it back on the wrist.
