Maranez has released a new model, called the Tao, that is a mix of a Seiko Turtle with an Omega PloProf styled bezel, and a sandwich dial. Specs like an automatic movement, sapphire crystal, lumed bezel insert and a jubilee bracelet make it a nice diver style watch for $400. What do you think of this watch? Is it an option for you, an alternative to a Seiko Prospex Turtle, or is it just another micro-brand homage that you wont buy?
