Feeling a bit militaristic this day, so I busted out my olive drab Invicter Grand Diver, and I'm prepped for militaristic hostilities...whatever THAT may mean...

              Oris Aquis Big Day/Date today.

Always found that obvious name to be somewhat amusing. Reminds me of household stuff that I name for what it's named for -- the big cooking pot, the small white mixing bowl, LOL.

When I was a child, I didn't grasp that such names were mere descriptors. When my mom would ask me to get the "yellow colander" or the "small vacuum," they seemed like proper names for such items. Language is a trip sometimes.

              Anyway, the watch!

I purchased this watch when someone else posted their San Martin. This watch is very well made and for 2 1/2 bucks ($250) you can not go wrong.
