Thanks for the very informative Thread.
Thanks for the very informative Thread.
Great review! It inspired me to get one. I picked up the grey Combat Sub. Was impressed the moment I took it out of the box. I got the GL0076 with the bracelet and was surprised to find it had solid end links, which at first I thought they were hollow. After wearing it for a week it is running +3 seconds a day, verified by comparing it to atomic clock and my Timegrapher. The lume is surprising too, as it is still quite visible in low light after ten or eleven hours. I have a bunch of 2824 and SW 200 equipped watches but by far this one is the best.
Thank you again!

Funny this thread should pop up. Just a day ago I ordered a Combat Sub myself as I really like the looks and it has quality features I'm after.
Nice write up.

Bill always wrote great reviews. He must be looking out for you. Congrats on ordering a pretty nice watch.
I take it timetraveler is no longer with us. I mean no disrespect, his write up is indeed a good one. Had I not already ordered the watch I would have after reading it.
Very sorry for the loss for his family as well as the WIT membership.
I liked the first one so much, I got a second one!
You are correct. These were his last ones.
