I think you all remember Adam....Bevhillsrtrainer. I was lurking around on another forum and saw he had this one up for sale. After a chat and some funds transfer he fired this off to me. Oh, he said to say hi and he still lurks from time to time. So Adam was great to deal with and this one arrived in brand new condition. The presentation box is pretty amazing and could be the nicest box I've ever had with the Mazzucato I sold a close second. It came with the Shark strap that is one there and a black rubber with the corrugated part near the lugs like on the Seikos. I much preferred the shark and wasn't feeling the roller buckle so went with the tried and true skull for now. I might hunt for a blasted Ti bracelet if I can find one for a reasonable price so if anyone knows a guy that knows a guy that robbed a guy let me know.
Chav I apologize to your wallet as I think this one will now but on your hit list...lol. So this one lists as a 46mm but very much plays like a 50mm with the lug design. It is Grade 5 Ti so light for it's size. I have a flat, bony wrist around 7 3/4" and there isn't any overhang that is an issue at all. With the strap being able to hang straight down it hugs nicely. I am trying to figure out if this thing is blasted but I don't think it is. I just got it so have to study it a tad more. If not I wonder if and what kind of patina the Ti will get over time???? The finishing on it is really amazing. The tolerances are tight tight tight...twss. The bezel doesn't spin which is good for me. I love a wacky bezel but prefer a fixed bezel anymore. The crown winding action and ease of manipulation is spot on even with damp Louisiana summer fingers. Not sure what the point of the red arrow is though??? The crystal has a slight dome to it to give the dial some neat looks at different angles. Nice depth to the inside too. Sweet hand set and a silky eta 2824 modified movement. Lume is good but not as torchy as I thought it would be for a watch like this. I like the fairly stark dial. I would maybe take the logo off and put a power reserve of maybe even a small Kraken character like on the caseback. I do like the Kraken signature and orange arrow. Overall I am really pleased. The wife said she likes it but is used to all the other funky pieces I have so this one is tame by comparison. I agree but am really trying to diversify and this one is a joy to wear and I love the look. Anyway thanks for reading and enjoy the pics!!! Also here's a little history of the brand and the Italian Military.
