Like so many have said, itís just gorgeous. One thing I noticed which I was disappointed in is that it doesnít have a ceramic bezel insert which would have been expected at this price point and considering itís a tool Watch. Does anyone agree or am I off base?

I am thinking seriously about cancelling my order. The seller is not Amazon, but an Amazon third party seller called Watch Centrally. Watch Centrally is brand new to Amazon, yet has 12 pages of Breitlings, Pateks, and IWC's now listed on Amazon, with no reviews yet.

Some of the prices look about right, but some of the prices look way too cheap, IMHO. Also, a reviewer of another watch sold by Watch Centrally said it was a Chinese rip off and to "watch out".

The shipping time sounds suspicious. Why am I not going to get the watch until July 5th at the earliest? The estimated delivery time frame is July 5th to July 26th. Strange.

I also don't like the name--Watch Centrally. Who would name their company Watch Centrally?

Using the mosaic theory, putting the pieces together to form a clear overall picture, I think this might be a high end knock off company out of the far east.

The deal is very good but I don't need this kinda trouble in my life.

If anybody thinks differently I'd love to hear your opinion......

Here is a link to a different Breitling listed on Amazon by the same seller. Note the first review.....

if you're worried I would cancel. You don't need the aggravation. The shipping time is an obvious sign that it is coming from overseas from Asia and/or that they don't stock the actual product. Like Joma has done at times and then had to cancel orders.

tough call cause its a really fine piece and that's a sick price. But if your gut says hold up...? you're an experienced enough buyer to trust that gut!

Too much money on the crap table to feel uneasy. IMO paying for more stress is not worth a timepiece or anything else in life. You can find enough of that in life for free. I noticed myself it was a third party seller and was wondering about the three-week shipping time.

So Yesterday I was kind of disappointed about having cancelled my order for the Superocean Heritage. To assuage my disappointment, I decided to head over to the Breitling Store on Madison and try the watch on.

15444

I tried on both the 46MM and the new 44MM version of the Black dial, black bezel SOH. I definitely love the watch and I decided I preferred the 46MM.

44MM
15448

46MM
15450

However, the price tag on these is $6,700. Wow! I guess I was surprised at how high the price was because I'm used to seeing the gray market prices of the older version, which Jomashop currently has on the mesh bracelet for $4,150.

Anyway, I thanked the salesman, and told him that the $6,700 was a bit too much for me at the moment--just being honest.

When I got back home, I started thinking about how good of a deal that Amazon SOH was at $2,700 for the older version on mesh that I had cancelled. So I emailed the seller, and asked him how I could be sure that his watches were authentic. He responded within an hour or two, and said that I was free to have the watch authenticated after purchase. I then responded by asking him what his return policy was (in case it proved NOT to be authentic), and I didn't hear back from him.

So this morning I wake up and take a quick look on Amazon, and all of his watches appear to have been removed from Amazon's website. I also tried searching his company name, Watch Centrally, on both Amazon and Google, and came up with nothing. It looks like he either left Amazon in a hurry or Amazon had him remove his listings.

All things considered, I feel lucky to have dodged a bullet on this one. I don't mind not getting the watch so much now, as the great price was never really there to begin with. And kudos to Amazon for staying on top of this stuff and acting with some expeditiousness in protecting somewhat unsuspecting customers (like me!).

I am glad that you cancelled. I remember when a few Watch Lords were kind enough to post the dangers of fakes, and how difficult it can be for even the more knowledgeable to tell the difference. It ain't a bargain if it ain't real.

Due diligence is always important and should be on autopilot before jumping into any purchase head first, but even more so when you're in this price range. After seeing it was a third party and reading the review, from Willi Wacker, the red flags started to go off like a firecracker. I had sent an e-mail to the seller. Even before any response I was thinking this storefront would not be up much longer.

thank goodness! I'm happy you dodged that bullet. A shame that at least one or two people were robbed.

This was cleverly done. The price while outstanding is only a couple hundred dollars better than perhaps the absolute best prices on the grey market in the past. So while it was a fantastic deal it didn't seem too good to be true based on price alone.

Exactly! The guy was good--he did his homework and priced the watches where they could be realistically seen as legit, and as you say, just a few hundred less than the lowest grey market price ever recorded.

To your point, Jomashop had a Breitling sale around 2013--it was the lowest price I had ever seen on Breitlings. Might have been the first time they were ever on the gray market, I don't know. I remember buying a SOH Chrono on rubber for $2,300 and a Montbrilliant Legende on the gorgeous bracelet for around $3,000....might have been $2,800.

So when I saw the $2,790 for the SOH Chrono with the mesh, which is a $1,000 bracelet, I was like, wow, that's even cheaper than the Joma deal way back. But as Gavin points out, it was within the limits of "believeability", for me at least, anyway.

All in all, it made for an interesting couple of days, and I didn't lose any money!!! Plus it got me over to the Breitling store--always a good thing.
