This one comes from the Crepas/Tactico group in Spain. Being a sucker for dual crowns and cool case sides, I had to pull the trigger on this one even if it’s not the typical style that I usually prefer, divers.
It came on awesome NATO and a sweet leather strap but I already had this canvas in mind:
Under the right lighting and decent camera, you might’ve been able to see the awesome furnace blue color of the hands but I can’t capture that.
It’s a 42mm case but the design makes it wear closer to 43mm. It may all be high polished but it doesn’t feel like a blingy look-at-me watch. More like that watch you love to stare at when nobody’s looking. It does look and feel a lot more expensive than the price point.
It appears to be have double screw lugs but the left side stays in place while you use the right side to screw and unscrew.
I googled brazas and each braza is the equivalent of about 2 meters so it has a water resistance of 240m and both crowns are screw in. The upper crown is for the inner rotating bezel. I wouldn’t go swimming with it but I’m glad both crowns screw in.
I might have to get another one next year for my dad’s birthday if they’re still available. I think he’ll love it as much as I do.
That’s all for now. I think I’ll try a navy canvas next and share here to see if it maybe helps make those blue hands pop.
Thanks for viewing,
Luis
