Hey guys,

I might be able to pick up a used Sea Dragon for around $200. I'm curious what those who have gotten to live with it for a while think of it.

Wear it often? Does it make rotation? Quality held up?

etc etc.

I'm not sure yet DO. I have one in the mail on the way to me right now as we post. :mail:
While researching it I found most "used" ones are a little higher in price than the one that you've found. Lets hope you've found a good bargain or a motivated seller and not someone who has dropped the selling price because of an undisclosed issue with the watch. I'll revisit this post with an updated opinion in a week or two with more info my friend.

Are there a few "sea dragons". I have 2 model sea dragons?
One is a sea dragon venom, the other is the torpedo tube model. Which can you get? $200 sounds high for the venom, but great for the torpedo.
I wear them and enjoy them. The silicone straps are very soft.
(But take my comment with a grain of salt...you know me... I'm biased)

I'm gonna take a wild guess that since DO posted this in the Borealis forum he's talking about the Borealis Sea Dragon Bob. :grin

I thought I saw one on the Invicta Marathon for $169 the other day.I don't have a Sea Dragon,so I can't comment on it.Don't have a Borealis either.

I like my BOREALIS sea dragon a lot. Heed the words of one Scotty B. though. The leather and the rubber strap they give you are OK, nothing great.

Very nice watch. I own the gray dial. Great lume. I put an Android bracelet on it and have never taken it off. I wear it often. $200 is a fantastic price. I really recommend this one!

I have two of them and really like them.
They make the rotation on a regular basis and with the drilled lugs strap changes are a breeze to change up the look a little whenever you want.
At around a $200 price tag I don't think you'll be disappointed.

My wrist is around 7", watch fits great. I would highly recommend. I also wear mine on the Android DM bracelet.

9015 engine, off-set crown, drilled lugs and shroud. The Doxa orange dial is to my liking.
There were reports of loose shroud screws! I had no issues and did check mine, even took
the shroud off. In my rotation and glad I spent the $$$!

I really enjoy mine on my 6.5 inch wrist. Fits well and looks great with either an add on bracelet or a strap.

Thanks for all the impressions and opinions guys. Unfortunately the watch was sold before I got back to the seller with my money. Oh well, you snooze you loose (I did try the same day I posted this thread) so the search continues.

They are out there pretty frequently from what I see but people are asking $250-$300 and I'm just not comfortable paying more than retail for a used piece. I know it's $350 on the Borealis site now but at one point you could get it for as low as $235 new when the watch was listed at $265 and Borealis ran a coupon code.

I'm thinking $200-$225 is more than fair condition depending...

Is that a code you could share? I have one on pre-order now, I didn't get a discount from the code currently floating around because I used it for the Bull Shark. If there is an additional code out there, I would greatly appreciate it as I want to order a second Cascais. Thanks in advance.
