The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Tourbillon 704.032 is part of a limited edition of 250 pieces in red gold created for the 2000 model year. This A Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Tourbillon includes a three day power reserve, a power reserve gauge, an oversize date (Panorama Datum), and a hand-finished A Lange & Sohne caliber L961.1. The caliber L961.1 is a manual wind movement with a beat rate of 21,600, an overcoil hairpspring, adjustment in a chronometer style five positions, and exquisite finishing.

Glashuttte stripes are executed on a three-quarter bridge designed to evoke vintage German pocket watches; black polish is used for sensitive assemblies such as the half bridge of the balance; "German silver," an alloy of nickel, copper, and zinc is utilized to craft all bridges and plates. Polished chamfering (anglage), blued screws, engine turning (perlage), and freehand engraving of half bridges ensures that this Lange tourbillon movement is as beautiful as it is precise.

This Lange 1 Touribllon is encased in 38.5mm of rose gold surrounding a silver dial on a brown leather strap. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, power reserve indicator, and tourbillon. The watch also measures 9.9mm in thickness and 46.8mm from lug-to-lug.
