I was fishing and saw this on the bay for $75. When I saw the same one on TOM for like $350 I figured I may have a good deal in the works. I went ahead and grabbed it. I think it's pretty darn cool. What say you??

That’s cool, been looking at some. I’m slow to pull the trigger though. Nice grab.

That ring matches up with some of your watches nicely.
I think I remember way back you started a thread with watches and rings pictured together.

That is awesome looking and I think you got a great deal.

Very cool. I looked at the TOM offering as well and was surprised by the pricing.

Is the core of that ring copper? If so, is it going to turn your finger green?

Thank God it’s a FINGER ring, then!

I'm not sure if the stuff this guy is selling is exactly the same as the ones TOM had, but he has a wide selection in the $75-$80.00 range. My biggest concern would be finger turning green from the inside brass lining of the ring. He does make some similar rings that are not brass on the inside.

Stainless steel damascus rings in proper alloys don't rust, tarnish or react with your skin. Carbon steel damascus rings do. ... The steels called 304L and 316L, contain nickel and chromium, which react with oxygen to form surface oxides that prevent oxygen from reaching the iron molecules, preventing rust.

That's a great looking ring man. If I didn't get a gold ring from my company I would be going to buy one of these. Enjoy it man!

yea I was wondering that. I guess we will see. The instructions did say that I should keep mineral oil on it to keep the steel from rusting so hopefully that will also help with the copper

I love it! I've been looking at those Lashbrook damascus and meteorite rings and never thought about checking ebay. I think I'll go there now.

I've got a Lashbrook Zirconium with a Damascus type design in Rose Gold inlayed that belonged to my Dad before he died. The inlay is called something like Mobue or something like that. They (Lashbrook) make some super nice stuff.

:outstand:Handsome, and unique. A big congratulations, Brad!:up::applaud:
