Well as my boy Bestofnyc suggested this one needed a hand mod. I thought about doing all new hands but instead figured I'd try a little bit of a project. I ran to the Hobby Lobby and after the 40% coupon I spent a measly $1.07 for a little bottle of Testors Model Paint. I already had some doll maker's brushes. After I took it apart and slid a piece of paper under the hands to protect the dial and put 2 coats on. I have to admit I put a tad to thick of a second coat on the hour hand but I think I can live with it. I did discover that the paint will pull some of the lume granules loose so I think that's where the "extra" paint on the second coat came from as I tried to "brush out" the few grains that came loose. Over all I think the look really pulls the watch together. Now, the execution is not my best work but it's my first go-round so it is what it is. What say the WITitite nation????
