Go this on the Christmas sale at 15% off. Ive always been fond of the Excursion, and here was one like none other in my collection. The dial is a cool blood red abalone. the bracelet and case area high polished SS. It fits great after sizing. The bezel rotates, unlike some other Excursions. There is a see thru caseback, too.

But it's the unique look of this watch that caught me eye and my credit card.

That is the best Abalone dial I've seen thus far. Well done!

Thanks...it it a bear to photograph...the dial looks too brown, but it is a dark red. The high polish SS looks dark on pics.

Oh yeah, like that red a lot. Just when I was thinking I'd had enough of the abalone trend, here's one that interests me. And I always like high polish. Congrats Bob, that's awesome!

Great choice, Bob. Abalone dials are not my favorites, but that one is really striking, and it's a double winner on an Excursion.

:outstand:That is one very impressive piece indeed. The Excursion is one of my favorite Invicta designs. I have one of the first ones the rolled out, and still love it. A spectacular presentation on the wrist for sure. A big congratulations!:applaud:

Whoooa, a functional bezel on a Excursion? I'm so jel-jel right now. Do you know how many Excursions I've bought over the years with fixed bezels that I wish were functional? That's really awesome Bob, Congrats:wink:

That is really a sweet looking dial - a great look overall - congratulations & enjoy!

Never cared much for the older excursion design with the fixed bezel, and almost too much HP for my liking.
But I like this updated version very much. The fit & balance are quite comfy. A bit less bling on the bracelet too.
A most unusual red sets this one apart Bob. Enjoy!:drink:

That looks fantastic!!!! I have owned many Excursions and always loved them but sold them chasing other things. This one is a stunner
