Although I ordered my Divemaster 9100 mere hours after it was opened for purchase I feel like I was one of the last here at WiT to get a shipping notice and delivery. Damn near bit my nails down to the first knuckles while seeing other buyers getting theirs delivered and rockin' them hard. (I think I remember Wing saying he was going to fill the orders of the tallest and most handsome buyers last) :grin
But I gotta say it was well worth the wait, the light blue bezel silver dial color combo not one you see everyday or one that I've had previously but it's beautiful, and in bright sunlight ... TA-DOW!
When I ordered it I said to myself I'd really like an black sunray or matte dial version of this same watch and planned to swap or sell this one when/if a black one became available but naaaw, guess I'm gonna have two cause this is a keeper!

Nothing new here, you've all seen 'em but please enjoy my Johnny Come Lately pics and Wing's vid

That bezel looks killer, and your pics are the first ones where I've noticed the helium valve on. Not that you'll be using it, unless you go desert diving. You hit triple cherries with that one, my friend. Enjoy!

I agree it looks like one Dave but that's not a helium escape valve, it's actually the pusher to advance the "month's" subdial.

A lot of watch aficionados do not understand what a Helium valve is for and the circumstances that would justify one on a watch. At 200m WR, neither the Divemaster Automatic, nor the Divemaster 9100 are rated deep enough to warrant a Helium valve. The depth rating is OK for recreational SCUBA to 130 feet and perhaps commercial to 200 feet (provided they're tested to ISO 6425).

Three conditions for wanting a Helium valve:

Diving to depths below 300 feet; AND
Prolonged saturation diving (measured in days) using pressurized diving bells and hyperbaric living accommodations with a special air mixture containing Helium like "trimix"; AND
A watch design that won't have gaskets that prevent Helium seepage into the watch case over time (there are watches that do; they don't need Helium valves).

The Helium has to get into the watch in order for it to be trying to get back out when decompressing. Helium seepage into a watch case around its gaskets occurs when the diver is living in a hyperbaric environment pressurized with an air mixture containing Helium, such as trimix, so that he doesn't have to decompress and recompress constantly. This is serious commercial deep diving at depths of 300 feet and below, where divers live in this pressurized environment for days and weeks. Even "bell bounce" diving for hours at 200-600 feet isn't going to seep enough Helium into the watch to cause a problem; they're not in the bell long enough. ISO 6425 requires a minimum 100m WR, with additional tests required to certify for a watch for saturation (aka mixed gas) diving, to even be considered for certification testing. However, the reality of saturation diving depths is such that anything with less than 300m WR would be useless, even if it were ISO 6425 certified. Most real saturation dive watches are 500m to 1000m WR because of the depths at which they're used. Also note that ISO 6425 certification is not a kind of "type certification" done for a watch model, the testing is performed on each individual watch.
