My prediction is Stan will offer a special limited time intro price of $599 for the new Daynight Recon.:pop:

Theoretically the only real difference between the Recon and the recently introduced 10 YR Anniversary Master 2000 Swiss Auto would be the inclusion of the 65 tube T-100 dial and hands which is worth a $100 step up over the dynamite intro $499 price of the new Master 2000 Swiss Auto.

I'm betting (hoping :wink:) that Stan will want to be just as aggressive with the intro pricing of the new Daynight Recon to keep rolling on with his recent string of successful introductions :up: , please...? :man:

Oh, my. As said above, I am. But my bank account? It's Christmas and this is a terrible time for spending one oneself when others need to be spent on. I went for the 500 but the majority of my remaining fun money is ear marked for gifts for others. And I highly doubt my other half would be willing to pony up for this one.

Love my black dial Recon 65! Wonder if there will be any surprises in dial colors or tube color combos. Cool caseback!

I was hoping for orange but I know this is not coming because I asked Sammy who asked Stan whenever I was thinking about getting my second M2K. That helped make my decision to go for the second M2K when I was told orange will not be part of the Recon.

It looks like the Recon will come in classic black, blue , and Batman model.

I'd rather it be SL than tubes. Tubes die, SL does not.

I've got to disagree with you, HK. If history is any judge, SL fades as does its luminosity. TTs die in 25 years. However, DBs that contain TTs, usually have SL as well. So, you don't have to sacrifice SL most of the tyme you go for TTs. The reverse, of course, is not true. Whatever floats your boat.

That's the one I have. I wish they would have brought back the orange which I think was a killer color (deep dark orange}
