The Swordfish 40mm is back

The SF40 was one of our hottest launches of 2020 and its back with the same great design and amazing value. This batch of Swordfish 40s feature all new dials including unique materials such as a dark blue Mother of Pearl dial and blue Meteorite. Stock is limited for this batch so do act quick!

I’m also proud to launch 2 limited editions of the SF40. A full Tantalum case and bezel is rarely used in watches due to its difficulty and cost to machine, but its hefty feel and unique blueish grey hue sets it apart from any other material. The ‘Space Coral’ carbon fiber dial features copper additives to form a unique wood grain pattern.

For lovers of bronze, we will be launching a bronze SF40 in 1-2 weeks time so do stay tuned!

Swordfish 40mm Tantalum Limited Edition

MRTanalum_2021-01-16_ZelosElshanSwordfish40200m_1024x1024.jpg

Full Tantalum case and bezel, with 'stealth' lume and hands. Brushed 'sterile' bezel and sandblasted case.

Tantalum is a rare and dense metal commonly used in capacitors or medical applications. It's extremely corrosion resistant and hypoallergenic, with a understated blueish grey hue. Tantalum is rarely used in timepieces and usually priced at a huge premium over steel due to the cost of raw material and the difficulty in machining.

On the wrist, tantalum feels similar to gold in density. The Swordfish 40 (head only) in Tantalum weighs 125g compared to 78g in 316L SS.

Depending on the model only around 100-200 each ... know the one you are ordering these may sell fast.

Will we ever see the blue mete/tidamascus again as well?

Not anytime soon as that was actually a mistake in production haha

Great pics and thanks for the update RW! Blue meteorite is looking sweet and I really like how he left the bezel colorless on the teal like he did on the SF 42 titanium in the teal colorway. Then there’s the Salmon - Holy :poop:!!

PVD PHYSICAL VAPOR DEPOSITION... chicken in every pot space rock on every wrist... space rock looks like dirt in a field it's gem stone and needs processing to become jewelry ... so this processing has gone HENRY FORD in china bringing the cost way way down coating the gibeon with a thin film

- that blue is looking good..i guess if you banged every hooker in TIJUANA you'd need a rest... never owned a space rock or blue space rock...

kinda like MIDNIGHT COWBOY where DUSTIN HOFFMAN sees himself retiring to florida and glammed out instead of a sleazy dirty street hustler...

yeah someday can see myself blue space rock on the wrist reflecting sun glare in the tropics waiting for my MYERS DARK AND STORMY make it a double and let me try some of that legal canadian i hear it's fun hehe ...

You know me Mike. That Blue meteorite looks great on that Swordfish. Nothing wrong with Blue mop either. Like the Red dial, but like the swirl Red dial better.

I agree. That teaser pic of the stainless Mako with the red swirl dial really got me hot and bothered. Hope we see a reissue of the Makos soon!

Yeah I figured you would favor those two Steve. The BM dials are what the Ti versions should have looked like, but ended up being sold with the Timascus bezel because of the darkness.

I was considering a blue MOP, but I think I've settled on a bronze dial.

That blue MOP reminds me of the stuff Wing used on this one.
