Not a gigantic fan of either but I would choose the first one. Little bit more aggressive dial and sportier look. The second is a little more dressy which is not my cup of tea

Both very nice - the explorer would be a more daily wear watch and so I would go with that.

Explorer two is extremely versatile but good luck getting one as there are almost no stainless steel professionals available . I thought long and hard about getting the explorer to but with all the Pompous Elitist attitudes floating around at my local Rolex authorized dealer I went next-door and bought my semester aqua terra for half the price and it has a far superior movement.

Te Explorer II is available in London at a dealer where my wife goes for her job.

It’s a really great watch. I tried one on several years ago and I found the size and comfort to be spot on. If I was able to strangle the sales staff at this A.D. without legal repercussions I just might’ve done it . That was my only beef .

I was able to try one on as well and liked it very much. My wifes home-base for her job is in London. I will be able to go out there with her once the Pandemic crisis subsides. I have not seen the Milgauss live yet but the little hype on this Forum has me intrigued.

arctic explorer very solid...but I am intrigued by the 1000 gauss resistance of the MILGAUSS...

true i would need to make sure the green lense does not bother my eyes...would saddle up both...but on the net my vote MILGAUSS

-" when the pandemic crisis subsidies "hmmm...i guess all plagues did burn out eventually...but before the fire goes out the virus periodically returns to opportunistically host on different age groups and health profiles

successful viruses become less deadly endemics like influenza... we will have to C

I wasn't a fan of the lightning bolt but it serves a purpose on how anti-magnetic the watch is. A symbol if you will.

I felt the same about the lightning bolt...but then when I read the thread on 1000 GAUSS resistance...I got over it... will look forward to whether the green lense affects the view by day/or night

They are both nice watches, but I would not pick either one. Regardless of that, good luck on the selection and congrats if you snag either one. This no-date watch would be the one for me.

Master Chronometer movement, today’s Railmaster is 15 times more resistant and is able to withstand fields up to 15,000 gauss

THE SEAMASTER RAILMASTER COLLECTION
In 1957, OMEGA released its very first Railmaster model. Today, the timepiece has made a triumphant return. The Seamaster Railmaster arrives with the same simple and elegant design traits of the original – but with updated touches of style and the very best mechanical movement.

A HISTORY OF RESISTANCE
The first OMEGA Railmaster was built for railway staff or anyone who worked close to electrical fields. Able to resist magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss, it guaranteed reliable precision for the wearer. Thanks to its Master Chronometer movement, today’s Railmaster is 15 times more resistant and is able to withstand fields up to 15,000 gauss.

THE DESIGN
With a 40 mm brushed stainless steel case and conical crown, the Railmaster includes a vertically-brushed grey or black dial, recessed hour-markers filled with "vintage" Super-LumiNova, a railway minute track, OMEGA’s "crosshair" symbol of precision, and a "lollipop" central seconds reminiscent of the railways.

THE ENGINE ROOM
The Railmaster is powered by the anti-magnetic Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, which is locked into place behind a wave-edged caseback that features an embossed Seahorse medallion. The NAIAD LOCK also keeps the wording on the caseback pleasingly in position.

Explorer II - Don't need GMT hand but the white color is more versatile, date is usful and resale would be easier. Not green with envy at all.
