Snoopy in his guise as the now-iconic WWI Flying Ace, whose battles against the infamous Red Baron were immortalized in 1966 by the admittedly cheesy "Snoopy vs. The Red Baron" song, by the Royal Guardsmen. (Still, it was fun, singing along with the 'Guardsmen while riding the school bus home...) The good people at Timex recreated their automatic "Marlin," featuring movement by Miyota, and pleasing the majority of us "Boomers" by putting Charles Schultz' favorite pooch at the 6 o'clock position.

The 40mm size is a bit small for many of today's watch lovers, but 40mm is among my favorite sizes, so I enjoy showing off my Snoopy watch... Have an awesome "Friday Eve," everyone!

My other iteration of the Invicta Excursion, also re-branded to serve as a 15th Anniversary Russian Diver (despite not resembling the usual model line at all), and again with a very nice MOP dial.

If ya can't sell it under one model name, there's always another!

I really like these two though (the other one being the gold with blue MOP I posted some days back), big watches that wear so comfy, the informative 8040.N movement, the superfluous "vanity plates" on the sides, even the reverse bullhead design with crown and pushers at the south of the case.

Happy Thursday!
