The Zelos Thresher: Review added 07/17/20 Master of the Air and Seas

Nice watch and mop dial, but is that GMT hand off. It should be past the ten. unless he is using it for another time zone.:dunno:

I've yet to hear about GMT hands being misaligned. Anything is possible, but as far as I know Zelos gets it right Steve. :hmm: Do you have them confused with Steinhart?

In the picture you posted with the mop dial isn't that hand suppose to be on the 10 mark. That's all I was pointing out. Using the GMT hand as a 24hr scale.

How could you know the person has the hands in sync to the same time? Not everyone is going to have the 12 and 24 hour hands set to the same time. There are people who actually use the GMT function for another time zone. I know people using them for various reasons. In this hobby for instance, I know one person who's retired. They use a GMT to sync with a board that is in one time zone, but lives in another. They are useful tools for a lot things in everyday functions. I've always used military time because of log books and work, so my mind is forever synced to that. If you are waiting for a pre-sale or something to launch and they are overseas. Instead of using a UTC clock, set your GMT hand for the time that pre-sale goes live. In this day and age of mobile devices with built in alarms they also provide many of the same functions. Still, nothing is quicker IMO than a flick of the wrist to check the times.

I don't know if that person is sync or using it as a other time zone. The reason I said it in the first place is because it's close to being sync. It's probably CST.

I don't know Steve. I can tell you there have been times I've never bothered to set the GMT hand on some of mine when taking some quick photos.

 I can't even sync the correct thread. I posted this in the H20 section. :banghead:

I've been leaning towards the green. The MOP being the first to go narrowed the choices down.

Hello,

There will be some slight differences as the green dial is a sandwich style, while the MOP is printed on.
Generally the green dial is a tad brighter than the MOP. And yes the colors of the GMT track and outer bezel are
indeed different 😊

Thank you for all the support too!

Not a bad swap for someone like Scantor.

I know most of you are still getting your threshers or thinking about ordering one but I was hoping to make a trade with someone. I really would like the green one and don't want to buy two. Anyone out there willing to do a straight trade? My meteor for your green one? Bracelet is unused but it has been sized. Full kit obviously, still a very new watch
