Our New Shumate GMT watches are considered a "true GMT" (like the Rolex GMT) and make for an outstanding timepiece, with the ability to track two time zones simultaneously, and easily adjust the time for different time zones. These GMTs are the new flagship timepieces for our company and are made by hand in very limited quantities.

The forged, surgical-grade stainless steel case is 300 meters/1000 feet water-resistant. We use 50 layers of SuperLuminova for outstanding viewing in darkness. We include a top of the line, custom dive bracelet AND an Italian leather strap (with tools to swap them). If you're going to own just one timepiece, this could be the one!

Our Shumate dive watches were requested by, and designed for, the U.S. Special Forces Green Berets. The collection is named for Sergeant Major Walter L. Shumate, a legend in the Special Forces community and the man who was instrumental in the creation of the Special Forces Underwater Operations School.

The Shumate GMT looks & feels fantastic in any setting and no matter what you’re wearing – a business suit or a wetsuit. Check the specs below for all the awesome details.

The GMT is a different movement for George but a different model would be so much better IMO. Even a model that has not been around in awhile like let's say the ViiporFish for instance. That would be balls out!

So, I have worn the GMT Shumate every day since I received it. It has certainly exceeded my expectations and it has quite a presence.

The only thing I wish was different is that I would have really appreciated a bi-directional bezel. To be fair, I do not know how hard it is to do this and very few companies outside of Rolex even attempt it. I have few other branded GMTs and none of them do it. The Citizen Series 8 does have a bi-directional bezel. Interestingly, I was just looking at an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT 600M that runs around $22K and that watch does not have a 24-hour bezel (they kept the divers' version) and the rehaut that portrays the 24 hours is static (no way to move it either way). So, not having a bidirectional bezel is not a deal breaker.

The features I love about the Shumate GMT (and any tool GMT watch, really) is that I can tell up to three time zones and I can use it to tell where North is if I set the watch hands accordingly (a pretty neat trick, actually).
