The Bracelet was the pusher on the GO button for me! I am glad someone created it like this, I believe there will be no regrets...

Oh my! (Apologies for this post from another cat that got a watch, but here goes.) I'm not a green watch guy, but I'm blown away by how much I dig this watch and colorway. My first choices were meteorite, teal, and salmon, but I have the first two covered between Makos (bronze) and Swordfishes (SS), and the salmon by the upcoming Second Hour Mandala. For me, I made the correct call and this is a standout among my 11 watch Zelos family and much larger overall family. Gotta run now, I'm on (watch) honeymoon, after all.

B. Lehmkuhl photo below

there is some green in the bezel. What I did was soak it in salt water then I grabbed some Tupperware and plastic cups. I cut one and put salt and vinegar in it and put it in the container then I poured vinegar around it and made to stands with the plastic cups and loosely covered it so air can flow through

Not my cup of tea

I agree Stan. It's not just the appearance. I'm wondering how the patina getting into all of the nooks and crannies can have a detrimental in time. It's one thing to "reverse" or clean-up what can be seen on the surface. In the case of something like the bracelet there are pins/screws and holes inside the links. It's possible the threads could have problems from the film created by patina.

That's one reason why many brands will use a stainless or titanium tube for screw down crowns.

Copper, brass and bronze are resistant to destructive corrosion. The patina which forms naturally is in fact a protective film.

Loctite® 222 Threadlocker Purple (previously # 221) is designed to lock threaded fasteners closed to protect against them vibrating loose. Since the threadlocker creates a tight seal between the threaded fastener and the item, it also prevents leaks and the threads from rusting. The threaded parts can always be disassembled with your typical hand tools, ensuring that you will be able to continue to use the items you want threadlocked. It is a low strength threadlocker that is ideal for fasteners 1/4" (6 mm) or smaller.

  • Loctite # 222 Thread Lock Seal
  • Previously Loctite # 221
  • Provides non-permanent seal for screws
  • Ideal for small fasteners 1/4" inch (6mm) or smaller
  • Made in Ireland

Sadly this happened to me as well. A loose link screw came off despite my frequent checks on them being screwed properly and while waiting to get my loctite 222 order in. Can someone suggest a way to replace the lost screw? I almost lost the watch today, luckily it went off in my jacket but unfortunately the screw is gone.
😢
