This is an iconic design known to almost all watch collectors. There have been many homages to this watch over the years, some good and some not so good. The previous version of the PRS-68 has been refined, reduced in size and fitted with a movement more in keeping with the watch. The anti-magnetic properties have been increased to 20,000A/m by the use of an anti-magnetic movement cover and dial. The luminous compound used has also been improved and is now Super Luminova X1-C3

The bezel insert is ceramic and also incorporates Super Luminova X1-C3. The bezel itself is unidirectional with 120 clicks.

Like all Time Factors watches all of the components used are manufactured specifically for this watch (except for the movement), stock components are not used.

Supplied in a watch zipper travel case with 24 months guarantee.

I saw that review. I agree with the reviewer. Once you own the real thing or the updated Seiko version its not in the same league of Eddie Platts has some bad reviews about poor customer service. Just stick to the Dreadnought.

I would not overpay by buying a genuine Seiko when it comes to certain models. This is one of the models known to have alignment issues. As far as giving EP a play. I've yet to pull the trigger. I'm not a fan of the way he conducts his business.

For usually around $200.00 there are some great options out there without dealing with either company.

Mike in all fairness a lot of the Seiko models have a misaligned issues that's what pisses a lot of people off about Seiko it's not just the Willard it's many models there are misalignments with seiko's bezels

I agree and that was the gist of my point. I have many Seiko watches, but I pick and choose the ones I buy to contain the disappointment.

Whenever I buy a Seiko I know it's a crap shoot I try to minimize the disappointment by ordering one from AD and letting them know that I want a perfectly aligned bezel. So far that has been working for me

We all have our own thresholds and buying boundaries Stan. I'm glad you've been lucky with your Seiko buys. The sad thing is, no one should have to wait with bated breath to see if lady luck was kind. Seiko is a mega brand and there is no excuse for their lack of and shabby quality control.
