The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 210.30.42.20.01.001 is encased in 42mm of stainless steel surrounding a black ceramic laser-engraved wave dial on a black rubber strap. Features of this Omega Seamaster Diver 300M include hours, minutes, seconds and date. This Omega watch also measures 13.7mm in thickness and 50mm from lug-to-lug.

For complete details, watch the full review by Tim Mosso!

I'm no Tim Mosso but I think he's wrong about the stated accuracy of the Omega. I'm pretty sure that watch is METAS certified. Which means its range is 0/+2. Which is better than the Rolex. Maybe I'm wrong but the movement does say Master Co-axial on the back and I thought all their movements in that range were METAS certified. I guess after I type this I'll go to the website and check.

ok so in checking the Omega site, they do use some different verbiage for different watches. But they do claim this watch as a Master Chronometer, same as all the other METAS movement driven watches. They say the movement is approved by METAS.

From the spec sheet:
DIVER 300M CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER 42 MM SEAMASTER Steel on steel Reference 210.30.42.20.01.001MOVEMENTCalibre: Omega 8800Self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS,resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Freesprung-balance with silicon balance spring, automatic winding in both directions. Rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque

If they are calling it a certified master chronometer approved by METAS I have to presume it is what they say it is.

This description matches that of the Aqua Terra which is for sure METAS certified to 0/+2 sec per day.

Two very impressive timepieces, for sure. Thanks for posting this up, Mike.:hat:
Thanks for the additional information on the Omega, Gavin.:hat:
