REVIEW:The Glycine Combat Sub Auto 43 - Plus, my take on the Invicta/Glycine Buyout

Great review! It inspired me to get one. I picked up the grey Combat Sub. Was impressed the moment I took it out of the box. I got the GL0076 with the bracelet and was surprised to find it had solid end links, which at first I thought they were hollow. After wearing it for a week it is running +3 seconds a day, verified by comparing it to atomic clock and my Timegrapher. The lume is surprising too, as it is still quite visible in low light after ten or eleven hours. I have a bunch of 2824 and SW 200 equipped watches but by far this one is the best.
Thank you again!

Awesome watches, I've been close to purchasing Glycine watches, but I always seem to find another brand to purchase. I too have several Invicta's left, one's that I got from my wife and I prize them. I have that JT Frankenstein Venom 1, SAS/SAN V on a leather strap, a gorgeous SAS along with a stunning Blue Coalition Force and and... But every time there was a merger or purchase, have always heard those same promises and every time, they sucked the other quality company in... I hope I'm wrong after all, its happened sooooo many times!? :)
Great stuff and thanks!!

Funny this thread should pop up. Just a day ago I ordered a Combat Sub myself as I really like the looks and it has quality features I'm after.
Nice write up.

I take it timetraveler is no longer with us. I mean no disrespect, his write up is indeed a good one. Had I not already ordered the watch I would have after reading it.
Very sorry for the loss for his family as well as the WIT membership.

I sure miss Bill, sadly I think these were the last watches he bought. He got very sick just a few short weeks after getting these.
