I recently purchased a yellow gold/white dial version of the Boschett Legacy and wanted to pass along my observations to fellow watch collectors or for anyone considering a possible dress watch.
I have had the Legacy for over a month now and have been extremely satisfied. While I love vintage Hamiltons, Longines, and Bulovas, their smaller case sizes are just a bit too small for me (even for my 7 inch wrists). The 42mm case size and 22mm lug width feels perfect for striking just the right balance for a dress watch. Not too big and not too small. The overall fit & finish of the case, coin edge bezel, and tear style lugs is excellent and exudes a quality feel. The inner chapter of the oil pressed dial has a subtle sunray texture which adds a nice complexity when coupled with the individually applied polished hour markers. Top it off with the gold polished "B" at twelve o'clock and you have a great looking dial. The brown leather strap has a subtle reddish hue and compliments the case nicely while the 20mm deployment clasp operates with a firm crisp detent and appears to be well made should provide years of service. The 24 Jewel Miyota 9015 movement has only gained 1-2 seconds per day over the past month and the slightly oversized textured crown operates easily and the movement winds butter smooth. Add the outstanding customer service and a no hassle return/exchange policy from Owner Keith Boschetti and you just can't go wrong for serious quality automatic dress watch for under $500.
