The MARC & SONS MSD-029 series is a successful watch series for watch lovers with high quality demands. The watch impresses with its own design and high quality workmanship. The 44.5 mm large and very robust housing is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire glass as well as a helium valve and is also pressure tested up to 50 ATM . The unidirectional rotating bezel has a ceramic inlay with Swiss Superluminova BGW9 .

The watch is powered by an automatic watch from ETA. The Swiss movement ETA 2824-2 is well-known for its reliability and is fine-tuned once again by our watchmakers. The model MARC & SONS MSD-029-8S has a well-readable brown sunray sandwich dial with Superluminova BGW9 luminous indexes .

In addition to the classic stainless steel band, the watch can also be combined with a dive-type rubber band , a leather band or a sporty Natoband , thus forming the perfect combination of sportiness, aesthetics and functionality.

credible DSSD...stout...

rehaut & dial...both have a version of " automatic "...well the size is not my size anymore...so i do not have to consult the voices if i can live with auto printed twice...no can do...

-hour hand short but not a dwarf--..

Interesting. Can't say I'm in love with what they did here. Good idea to do a Sea Dweller, but not sure this is how I woulda done it. Maybe skip the ring and the landing pad at 9:00.

I like the clasp and the case back...

Sharp looking with some outstanding executions to choose from, and a very tempting price point. Thanks Mike.

I have this 9015 Diver with the Lume dial. I'd say it's a well made watch. Proportions are a little more beastly than the DSSD homage. 46MM Case and closer to 16MM height vs. 13MM for the more refined DSSD. Only 300Meters vs. 500Meters for the DSSD though.

Pricewise, mine was in the low $3's, I believe.

I like that this one is less of an homage, as far as I can tell....

That's a super looking watch. I'd could even see me breaking my "nothing less than 47mm" rule for that, TC.

I'm an equal opportunity poster. I'm on the bench mainly because I've reached the point, divers, pilot or any other style all look the same. The similar DNA just flows into each new creation blurring any distinguishable characteristics along the horological lines. No matter how you slice it, even Dr. Frankenstein would be challenged to keep his creations interesting, hands, faces and most other parts have been mixed in one variation or another.

Good Un-enabling post RW. We probably need more of these around here ha ha!

But some companies/brands do a pretty good job of consistently coming up with new designs. Seiko comes to mind. Elshan at Zelos. And how about Invicta? They certainly have new and different designs on a regular basis.

We agree to disagree. Even with Seiko they may have many different lines that give the illusion of, "new designs" but they still do the same basic thing with a slightly different appearance. ET has had a few that were different, but I'll give him more time to develop a bigger body of work to see where the designs go.

I like all these pieces posted here. But unless they are free they ain't for me....................................................right now.

Honestly, I'm pretty much at that point myself right now. Bought a few too many watches at the end of August. Gotta sell some (my way of getting myself out of the NBZ) or at least take a break for a while.

Black Friday is right around the corner!

You know, I thought twice before putting Seiko in that group. But then I started thinking about the Monsters, Shrouded Monsters, Tunas, Samurais, etc. Those Samurais have a pretty unique case design.

Now, that said, yes, Seiko is the master of taking a modest improvement and exploiting it to it's fullest commercial potential. No question about that. Look what they are doing with these new Cocktail Times. They had one successful product and they moved it into the Presage line and expanded it dramatically, while only lowering the price slightly. But it seems to be working. Heck, they got me--I bought one.........
