Has anyone had any luck in getting Deep Blue to respond about parts request(s)? I have sent 2 emails about a watch that I am looking to get a bracelet for. The first one was on 3/31/2020. With the COVID-19 issues, I understand that they might not get back to me. I recently sent another one on 5/25/2020 and made sure the information was correct. According to their website, parts requests are handled at another location and can only be contacted by email. I made sure all the criteria has been met and still no answer. Very disappointing and frustrating. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Even the best of times before the Covid-19 stuff sometimes it has taken several e-mails before getting a response. I'm not sure you haven't done so, but calling might help. Good luck making contact.

Thanks RW. I guess it will be a lot of emailing and calling. Too bad. I like their products but probably won't buy another if it takes this much work for something this simple.

Having the same issue - thinking I might be done buying their products as well. Certainly underlines how Wing values customer service and the extra mile he and his staff (Christina) go to ensure customer satisfaction.

I understand that mileage varies, but I'll never jump through hoops like I've seen some have to do for Aragon or any other brand. I email Zelos once and the problem is solved. The parts or another watch is on the way even before the first one goes back with a call tag from FedEx. Not once has a haze issue ever been addressed or corrected from Android. I don't blame anyone for getting tired of constant emails and calls with no positive results. Too many other brands around that have proven they not only have great products, but customer service second to none.

I've never had to have one repaired Scotty. If Deep Blue can't give you some idea of the cost I would try these guys. I know it's under warranty, but it just might be an option to buy another movement and swap it yourself if you're handy like that. Best of luck and I'm sorry I couldn't give you a more definitive answer.

Well to let you guy’s know I sent my DeepBlue DepthMaster to . watchrepairusa.com I over wound the mechanism and screwed it up. I’ll do a write up about it whenever I get it back. Mine is not under warranty any longer. So far so good.

UPDATE:

I found that if you send a note to [email protected] someone might respond. Only when I did this with the email trail from the previous 3 emails sent to [email protected] did they respond.

I originally inquired about a new bracelet or links for Sea Chrono watch. I also inquired about the Sun/Sea Diver Sea Chrono Link extender.

The responses were not good.

The first one was basically no full bracelets. Then when I kept asking I did receive a response from Steve stating I could buy a new clasp for $40. I never asked about a clasp. I also don't know Steve as there was no last name or phone number.

I did ask if there was an phone number to call or someone to email direct. No answer.

To make matters worse, I had asked it any of the other bracelets might fit. No answer.

I like the watch but with no response, I'm done. I am sure I can find a link somewhere that fits.

I can say with definite certainty that I will not purchase another Deep Blue watch. The level of crappy CS that they have has made this decision easy. I just hope the 5 DB watches that I have never need service. If service is needed, I will probably have to go to a local watch repair.

I bought a few bracelets on eBay for a few of my watches. Not OEM, but they work and look good, IMO.

I'll be interested to hear of your experiences.

In another thread I talk about breaking the date platform on a panda because of brain fade and then sending it to a recommended repair guy. I'm updating that info as I get it but am always watching for good options.
I won't declare I'll never buy another Deep Blue (over customer service issues) but I'll say I'll have to want the watch really badly and will understand I'll be buying it with no regard to warranty. DB doesn't seem very interested in being pro active about CS concerns and that red flags them for me. Dare I say they are getting a little Invicta-esque with their CS? This bothers me beyond my personal experience which is limited to a couple of small issues with quality, one of which I went through two pandas the lume kept falling out of the bezel of. Third time was a charm a few months later.
BTW, my previous go-to watch repair place was Total Watch Repair. Always a good experience, my issue is price. They seemed to always be able to get $400+ out of me most of the time so as I grew and learned and researched I've found that not all repair shops are equal in their pricing, often times there are cheaper alternatives.
With a single watch they've charged me about as much to repair the watch as it would have cost to simply replace the mov't. Twice. But no more.
