OVD: Moon WalkerII: An automatic watch with meteorite

Got mine. Super Early Bird is now achieved. When I was purchasing this I think there was 4 or 5 slots open. When I finished my transaction all were gone.

30 EB spots and a $9,996 goal is NOT a lot to reach. They should have sold fast.

Me too...grabbed a Super EB...looking forward to this one for sure...now, which color :hmm:

They did...
That wasn't my point or even a question, but merely an observation. I read Scantor mention the points and was my response to his remark without quoting him.

:hmm: I guess everything needs to be quoted to keep in context.

I was having a conversation with the owner of "My Watch Addiciton" when he mentioned "Kickstarter is really a bad platform because many backers have no intention of buying the watch and just pledge for no reason and leave".

I agreed with his point. I've seen many times a project will go backwards. Some bail from EB spots inadvertently screwing up the whole process.

M:05 is my choice. Although, it’s really hard to make a decision.
I like the M:02 with the grey theme as it goes with the whole Lunar look...but also like the M:05 as that khaki is really sharp and eye catching...

Any hints on what a new colorway would be if the strech goal is reached?

Yes, normally there were over 10% dropped backers and Kickstarter would still deducted the 9.5% handling charge even it's failed transactions after campaign ends. Therefore, it really hurts as creators.

New PVD colors are on my mind right now. If it's steel blue case or ice blue case would be quite eye-catching.
However, we would get some ideas over the campaign update of KIckstarter.

That is what another guy who just launched another watch on KS told me. The thing is if they bite into the profits, maybe it's time to give Kickstarter the boot. I understand it's sometimes easier said than done, but hopefully you will be able to achieve independence one day. Best of luck to future success.

I see Aragon who has been long established and around for many years do the occasional KS campaign. I think with some brands like Wing, it's not about the financial help, but more to try to get a feel on something new and maybe get extra exposure.

Wouldn't using Indiegogo as your crowdfunding platform take care of the problem of folks backing out? I know that as a backer you have to pay up front, unlike KS...and your payment is only refunded depending on which funding type the creator chose when launching the campaign... :dunno:

Yes, we are trying to hope to make it someday.

The crowdfunding platform is still quite attractive for me. My aim is that backers could get my timepieces at a very reasonable price. As I want more people to enjoy my innovative designs. So this is a contradictory situation.

You are right. We will continue to use the Indiegogo platform after completing the Kickstarter crowdfunding, where we can only have a perk under limited quantity. However, there should be received few perks only as our previous experience. We would try our best anyway.
